Spring has nearly sprung! This Easter we want you and your family to stay as safe as possible while having a fantastic time! At LIVES we compiled a few tips to ensure we all stay safe while enjoying what the Easter bunny brings along…
🐣 Opt for larger, hollow Easter eggs when indulging in sweet treats to minimize the risk of choking.
🐣 If an Easter egg contains smaller packets of sweets, it’s advisable to cut them in half to prevent potential airway blockage.
🐣 It’s crucial to closely supervise children while they enjoy their treats. Talking, laughing, or crying with food in your mouth can lead to choking, as the sudden inhalation that occurs during these actions can propel objects into the airway.
🐣 Before your Easter egg hunt begins, walk through the area before hiding your Easter eggs. Make sure to remove and safely put away any hazards like garden tools and chemicals. Avoid areas where any risks may be encountered.
🐣If you’re having an egg hunt with other families then make sure to ask parents about children with food allergies.
