LIVES’ Sluice Room Refurbished!

We’re proud to announce our newly upgraded sluice room, a project made possible through the generous support of our corporate sponsors, Witham Group and Polypipe. Both companies played an instrumental role in transforming the facility, providing critical equipment and resources to enhance the sanitation and waste management processes crucial to our emergency medical services.

The new sluice room was officially opened at a special event attended by representatives from both Witham Group and Polypipe. The opening featured an in-depth medical simulation, showcasing the incredible work responders carry out daily. Attendees witnessed a realistic demonstration of how LIVES medical teams respond to emergencies, using cutting-edge techniques and technology to save lives across Lincolnshire.

This project was a vital upgrade to our infrastructure. Sluice rooms are essential for infection control, particularly in environments dealing with medical emergencies. With its improved capabilities, the new facility will allow our teams to operate more efficiently and safely!
