Get to know Amy!

Who are you, what’s your role and how long have you been at LIVES?

My name is Amy, I am an educator and first responder at LIVES. I have been with LIVES since September and have loved being part of the organisation and am learning so much!

What does your day to day look like?

My day to day can range from working at home delivering online learning to paramedics, EMTS and call handlers, to travelling to schools and businesses delivering first aid courses. I am also currently working towards being able to deliver RTACC and BTACC courses.

What’s something about your role that might surprise somebody reading this article?

I also have taken on the role of casualty actor which means I have been brushing up on my makeup skills to create realistic looking burns, bruises and wounds.
