Aint No Mountain High Enough For Dave!

Dave Baptie, one of our Community First Responders is embarking on an amazing fundraising expedition in aid of LIVES and Prostate Cancer UK. He’s climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!

In September, Dave, accompanied by some of his family members, will embark on a remarkable journey to the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania, where they will begin their ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro. Standing tall at an awe-inspiring height of 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), Mount Kilimanjaro presents a huge challenge, both physically and mentally, but Dave is undeterred by the daunting expedition ahead.

Throughout the expedition, Dave is planning to document his experiences on his blog, providing readers with a glimpse into the exhilarating trek! From the foothills of Kilimanjaro to the snow-capped summit, every step of the way is in aid of LIVES and Prostate Cancer UK.

Dave has been a volunteer at LIVES for 3 years, and by doing this fundraiser wants to support the charity saving lives in Lincolnshire.

We’re incredibly grateful and excited for Dave, not only as a Community First Responder but also now as a fundraiser! We’ll be with Dave every step of the way and we hope you will be too.
