LIVES was proud to be the headline charity at the 2025 Lincoln Krazy Races – and what a day it was.

Thousands of people packed Flaxengate for a full day of thrills, spills and spectacular soapbox racing as teams launched their handmade carts downhill in a brilliant celebration of creativity and community. The atmosphere was electric, and the support for LIVES was truly overwhelming.

We were honoured to be chosen as this year’s headline charity thanks to a public vote, and we’re so grateful to everyone who took the time to back us. Your votes gave us the opportunity to be at the heart of the event – raising awareness, collecting donations and sharing the story of our volunteer Emergency Responders with new audiences across the city.

A huge thank you to Lincoln BIG and Krazy Races for bringing this incredible day to life and for their support in making LIVES such a key part of it. Being involved helped us reach hundreds of people, start important conversations, and celebrate the local heroes who give their time to save lives in communities across Lincolnshire.

We’re especially grateful to the amazing teams who raced in aid of LIVES – your creativity, fundraising and energy didn’t go unnoticed. Whether you built a cart, donated on the day or stopped by our stand for a chat – every single moment helped support our mission.
