LIVES Launches New ŠKODA Fleet for the Community Emergency Medicine Service (CEMS)

Lincolnshire, UK – May 14, 2025 – LIVES, the provider of CEMS Lincolnshire, is proud to announce the launch of a new, state-of-the-art ŠKODA fleet to support frontline operations. The introduction of these vehicles marks a significant step toward enhancing the quality of care provided to patients across the region while embracing sustainability and safety.

The new ŠKODA fleet replaces older vehicles, ensuring the service can continue to meet the growing demand for rapid, effective community emergency medical care. The addition of these vehicles demonstrates LIVES’ ongoing commitment to improving patient outcomes while reducing its environmental footprint. By choosing ŠKODA, the fleet brings a blend of modern efficiency, reliability, and eco-friendly technologies, all contributing to a greener future for the service and the communities it supports.

Key to the success of this fleet launch has been the collaboration with several valued suppliers. LIVES would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to ŠKODA Hortons Lincoln for their dedication to providing high-quality vehicles, ensuring the fleet meets the demanding needs of the CEMS team. The stunning vehicle branding has been expertly designed by Allen Signs Ltd Lincoln, who have ensured that the fleet not only serves its purpose but also stands out as a symbol of safety and care across Lincolnshire. Additionally, a special thank you goes to Elite Driver Training Ltd for their outstanding work installing the Emergency Blue Light systems, allowing the fleet to operate seamlessly when attending critical incidents.

“We are thrilled to unveil this new fleet of ŠKODA vehicles, which will significantly enhance our ability to serve the patients of Lincolnshire,” said Curtis Dorbon Head of Commissioned Services & Education at LIVES. “These vehicles are a testament to the dedication of our team and partners in ensuring that we can provide timely, high-quality emergency community based medical care. The move toward a more sustainable and reliable fleet is a key part of our commitment to both the environment and the people we serve.”

The new fleet is expected to serve the Lincolnshire community for the next three years, offering faster response times and improved safety features for both the crew and the patients they treat. LIVES is excited about the positive impact these vehicles will have and looks forward to continuing to provide critical care in the community.

To celebrate the launch of the new fleet and express thanks to its key suppliers and stakeholders, LIVES will be hosting a special thank-you event in the Summer. This event will bring together partners, key stakeholders, and patients to reflect on the progress made and the future of Community Emergency Medicine in Lincolnshire.
