Community First Responders

At the heart of every LIVES Community First Responder is a local volunteer giving their time to help others. They are parents, carers, teachers, business owners and neighbours who choose to make a difference in the communities they call home.

Volunteering as a Community First Responder requires commitment, dedication and ongoing training. From maintaining specialist equipment to keeping skills up to date, every responder invests countless hours to ensure they are ready when called upon.

As a charity, LIVES relies on public support to make this possible. Every donation helps fund the training, equipment and ongoing support our volunteers need, enabling them to continue serving communities across Lincolnshire and providing vital care when it matters most.

With you in moments of crisis.

Community First Responders (CFRs) are highly trained volunteers who respond to certain emergency 999 calls in their local communities. They provide vital immediate care, including CPR, defibrillation and other life-saving interventions, before an ambulance arrives.

Across Lincolnshire, LIVES Community First Responders are often the first medical professionals on scene, arriving before an ambulance in more than 70% of incidents they attend on average. This early intervention can make a critical difference in medical emergencies, helping to improve patient outcomes when every second counts.

Your donations helps ensure our volunteers have the training, equipment and support they need to continue responding when lives are on the line. Donate today and help us be there when your community needs us most.
